Environmental protection and sustainability: GUC 2021 adopts Hamburg declaration

The Global University Leaders Council Hamburg 2021 was held 2-4 June 2021. 45 University leaders from 27 countries met virtually to discuss the contribution of universities to tackling climate change and making society more sustainable.

In their final declaration, the university leaders commit their institutions to taking a holistic approach to climate protection and sustainability.
